An update for our demo 🥳

Hi there! And can we just say: Wow! Finally getting to share a piece of this game we’ve been working on for the past few years has been absolutely incredible! First of all a big thank you to each and every one who already tried the Ritual of Raven Demo and wishlisted the game! 💜


As more and more people play it we have also been able to gather further feedback and tweak a few things as well as hunt down some more pesky bugs… 🐞


Let’s talk about it! 😎

🤖 Constructs no longer blocking each other


Up until now constructs often ended up blocking each other when working on the same field or even when close to each other. They’d just end up standing around swinging their little arms awaiting further instructions. Now, that can be cute for sure, but we do understand that it’s quite frustrating when you’re trying to set up your automated farm. 😮‍💨


Admittedly, this was a bit of a head scratcher for us until we figured out the actual problem might be the order in which they tend to the fields. Instead of always going from left to right (or top to bottom depending on how you’ve set your field), they now alternate directions to tend to the nearest tile! 🤯

So whenever they’re in each others way now, they’ll patiently wait but then be sure to continue on their path as soon as the construct in front of them is done with their task! 🥳


⚠️ For this to work in an existing save game, please pick up your field signs once and place them down again!



💾 Fixed Save Game Bug (hopefully)


This one isn’t as visually exciting, but definitely needed! Some of you reported that your game file was lost even though you saved your progress. That’s definitely not what’s supposed to happen! 😢


So we spent the past few weeks since the demo launch trying to hunt this one down… 🐞 And we ✨think✨ we got it! So hopefully no more lost save files! 🤞
