Let’s talk about Decorating & our RELEASE DATE?! 😮

Hi there! Now if you read that title, you know that we’ve actually got some news today that we’re really excited to share with you (and also a little nervous because this makes it all the more real…) But before we reveal the great date, we also wanted to take today to look at all the decorating you’ll be able to do in Ritual of Raven! 🛋️

✨ Decorating in Ritual of Raven

We’ve talked about the constructs and the tarot cards, the villagers and friendships, the farming & spells and ok yes, we’ve also briefly mentioned the decorating , but let’s dive a little deeper into that today! 💫

🗺️ Where can you decorate?

We absolutely loved seeing the creativity of players, so we wanted to make sure to give you quite a bit of freedom when it comes to making the world of Ritual of Raven feel like your own!

So you can actually decorate pretty much everywhere. Of course that includes the space around your house - your own farm essentially - that you can design in whichever way you want: witchy, natural, rustic…

But you can also extend these decorations (or the farming itself) to the town! Give other villagers cute front yards and items you think they’ll love, lay some pathing, place some more trees and more! 🌳

And of course that includes other areas as well (yes, even on the bridges!)

And that’s still not all! 🤯 Because you can of course also make the interior of your own home your personal space! Once you’ve acquired enough shards, you can even buy expansions and transform a once quaint little cottage into a remarkable home!

🎮 How does it work?

But how exactly does the decorating work in Ritual of Raven? Well, that poses two separate questions: Where do you get furniture? and How does the actual decorating work? Both of which have quite simple answers!

You get all your furniture from Pistachio who will introduce their shop to you in the early game. They have an always changing selection of goods, so make sure to check in often and find new treasures. And if you’ve purchased something before, you can always buy more through the catalogue.

Also: Make sure to nurture the friendships with all the NPCs - sometimes you’ll get some extra special items as a reward and Pistachio even extends their shop inventory once they’ve gotten to know you a little bit better! 🥰

And all you have to do to actually place the newly required items in the world around you is enter Placement Mode through your wheel menu (Q on keyboard, LB on controller) and that’s it! Now you can decorate however you like! And you can also move around the camera a bit to decorate outside the frame. 🖼️

✨ Enchanting Decorations

And we definitely wanted to bring that automation vibe to the decorations as well, so a variety of the items can also be enchanted! Which means they can change their color or also light up!

And you can also combine these with some other cards and seals making for a really customizable and fun experience!

🪑 Item Selection

We don’t want to share everything everything just yet, because the joy of finding yet another cute item you can use on your farm is unmatched. But from the little pictures and GIFs we’ve shared in this post, as well as the little selection below, you can hopefully get a good idea and already find a few gems that will make it to your in-game wishlist!

And now finally! Our release date! You might have already seen it in our announcement yesterday or across social media:

🥳 Ritual of Raven is set to release August 7, 2025! 🥳

That’s actually not too long now! Just two more months and you’ll be able to experience the decorating firsthand and further explore why all the portals are going haywire!
